I'm so sad that we were only in town for one night. My sister and I did a road trip around Scotland, and this was our last night. It was the BEST hotel we stayed in. The staff was amazing and nice. The hotel was quirky and upscale. The breakfast was delicious (the best we had eaten the whole time we were in Scotland).

Clean room and comfortable beds

Of all the places we stayed during our 10 days in Scotland the Sherbrooke was the absolute best. (And we stayed in a few rather nice places, including the Scotsman in Edinburgh) Every member of the staff was beyond polite, friendly and accommodating. They could not do enough to help us feel both welcome and comfortable. In addition, the evening was gorgeous and our photos of the grounds and sunset were exquisite. What a way to end a trip at such a marvelous establishment.

Beautiful B & B, great local attractions within walking distance, clean and comfortable room. Their breakfast options are delicious! Would definitely recommend.

The location and food are great!

This hotel is different from a traditional hotel. Modern yet not too out there. Lots of young folks around since part of the facility is also a student housing. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Location is great too.

Most helpful and friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. My waiters were excellent. I did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on that.

The hotel was great! The desk lady was so helpful and offered to look up dining options and book our morning taxi to the airport. Fantastic experience all around.

Right near the venue looks new and artsy

We loved our stay here! Great location in the West End next to the "Hop-on-Hop-off" tour bus line. Excellent restaurant. Very comfortable beds, larger than average rooms, excellent shower. I read some nit-picky reviews about this hotel on Expedia and I think those reviewers must not be frequent International travelers because this place was wonderful. Booked this hotel for its location as we were seeing a show at the SEC Hydro. Really happy with the check in, room and location.

The staff was incredibly friendly. The historic building is beautiful. The room was spacious and had a kitchen. Everything was spotless. The bathroom shower was large, great water pressure and temperature. The bed is super comfortable. They don't make up the rooms daily, as it is an apartment hotel. Basically all was excellent but toilet was not cleaned one day. Very nice room but public areas need facelift. Location 6 stars.

Good hotel with good service. Breakfast is fresh and of good quality. It can be busy in the breakfast area at peak times (between 9 and 10 am)
