"Beautifully designed property surrounded by local farms and close to the quaint village of Tazones, only a 25 minute drive to Villaviciosa. You can hike directly to Tazones and a few other routes right from the property. The rooms are very spacious and well-appointed, modern, and clean. The kitchen has decent cookware and good silverware and plates. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"Pity no hotel restaurant or bar was open - but not a problem since there are more of both than you can wave a stick at in Gijon and all within walking distance and of reasonable price and quality."

A gem of a hotel at a great price

"Absolutely couldn't fault our stay at the Asturias. Location is fantastic, with great views over the beach and a minute's walk to the Marina and old town. Service, particularity at check in, was what yours expect at a five star hotel. Room was spotless and comfortable, and our balcony overlooking the sea an unexpected bonus."
