"A lovely place to stay in Ashover. Staff were kind and friendly and the accomodation is quiet and comfortable, if a little lacking in detailed maintenance in places. But despite that, I should be happy to return in the future "

"A nightclub with rooms above. The nightclub closes at 4am, so if you think you'd like to sleep, think again. Even worse, the bass speakers are knackered, so you can't even enjoy the music. Would be Ok, if you'd pulled in the club and needed a bed desperately. "

"Tv didn’t work, no access to WiFi as said in booking. 2 tiny bathrooms to share between around 10+ people. Had to leave early."

"Great hotel and we love the location and convenience of this hotel. The rooms are excellent and well appointed. This is a University hotel used for conferences and academic staff but it does cater to the public really well. Breakfast options are really good but we're beginning to note that the options are reducing in choice. The dining room should be updated and the lighting is very stark. "
