"Had a nice overnight stay at the Metropolitan Inn. Despite some construction going on in various rooms (remodeling and updated) and the run-down appearance in some areas, the room itself was clean, quiet and super comfortable. All basic needs were covered AND it was affordable - which is a huge plus in this day and age! It's not the ritz, but I was comfortable and would stay there again."

"No airport shuttle. No ice bucket or ice machine anywhere. Room amenities were sparse compared to other properties I’ve stayed. Just shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Luckily I brought makeup remover, cotton pads and Q-tips with me. The mini fridge was stocked full of sugary snacks, soft drinks, water (not complimentary) and Red Bull. There was a Nespresso machine, but I have no idea if it was free. While the room was nice, the giant spots throughout the hotel were a huge distraction. "

"Quiet place bed was very comfy and so were the pillows. Breakfast was amazing and the room was so fun :) check in was easy and the neighborhood was quiet. I definitely want to stay there again."

"I booked my room days in advance. When we showed up at 11:00pm our room still wasn’t ready. They had taken a bunch of last minute bookings and filled all the rooms. The room wasn’t clean when we finally got in so I cleaned it up myself. They put us in an adjoining room so we heard our neighbors all weekend. The only thing they accommodated was some free breakfast coupons. Don’t recommend. The staff working that night at the front desk were doing the best they could just unfortunate for them to be in that position also. "

"Please turn on heat 3 hours before guest arrival. It was so cold in all the room when we arrived and it took hours to heat. However the Host was great as we’re amenities!"

"Very clean very quiet and Very comfortable. Post quickly responds to all questions, Even outside of usual hours. Check in process was straightforward and communicated clearly. Check out requirements were basic. Very happy and we'll stay there again."

"The location makes for easy travel around downtown SLC. The place was very clean, and check in and out were very easy. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the noise. There is something mechanical in the basement that makes noise every few minutes that is loudest in the back bedroom and you can feel the vibration in the bed, so it makes it hard to sleep. And the front bedroom is by a main road, so it can also be noisy."
