"Horrible run down two storey family bungalow. Everything was broken! Dangerous ledder to climb to the upper floor. stayed one night and it was the worst on our 2 month Bali trip. Wanted to leave the same day but the manager refused to refund the money so we were forced to stay. Luckily we only booked 1 night. "I had an absolutely amazing stay at Mandalika Cottage on Gili Trawangan! The location is perfect—close enough to walk to everything but tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and quiet at night. "SCAM. Nothing like pictures. Building area looked like a slum. Disgusting room. Previous flooding visible on the walls. No desk to talk to just a phone service where the so called manager promised a refund as we could not stay there. Weve found other honest operators on gili t, so cant get our money back but hope this serves as a warning. After speaking to locals we were told tgeyhave been scamming people for ages, so why are still on expedia??"

"This hotel needs some upgrades. If you like to wake up as soon as the sun comes up this room is for you. The curtains is just for decoration doesn’t block the lights that come from outside. "Pearl Sunset Resort was exceptional. The location was perfect on a beautiful beach. The staff were brilliant, they were very helpful, friendly and polite. The pool area was lovely. Our room was delightful, spacious and very clean with a good sized balcony overlooking the pool. The restaurant did a lovely a la carte breakfast and the dinners were excellent."

"I had a great week at Manta. The rooms are basic but all you need for a beachside scuba escape. The staff make the place. So friendly and helpful. For me the area that could be improved would be the pool areas. Both that I saw seem a bit tired / dirty and not inviting. I know at the time they were working on the area around the main pool but this means that the second pool should be kept really well so guests feel like using it. Thank you team Manta for being so friendly and welcoming. "
