"I was bitten by insects as soon as I entered the place.There was holes in the mosquito net, I voiced my concerns with the staff, who listened but did nothing. At night I was very bitten by mosquitoes. There is very little ventilation as no windows, so the heat builds up, the fan is inadequate to cool you down. The bathroom is outdoors and does not have any privacy. I ended up staying somewhere else, and paying again. The guest book had comments from other customer's voicing the same...

"The staff there is soo friendly and so nice to talk with. They organized activities practically every night so you can enjoy yourself there, it's full of nice chilling spaces. Will definitely return."

"Great hostel with very friendly staff! They promote different activities to help people connect with each other, which you’ll have so much fun. The only slight downside is that the hostel is located on the opposite side of the island, away from the bars and nightclubs. But since you’ll probably rent a bike or scooter, it won’t be a problem. I highly recommend Mad Monkeys in Gili T!"
