"Our stay at Kalandara Resort in Lombok was truly breath-taking. We chose this resort for our honeymoon, and it exceeded every expectation—we did not regret our decision for a single moment. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. Little touches like slippers, Crocs for the infinity pool, and a Bluetooth speaker added a special charm to our experience and made our stay feel even more luxurious and personal. What really made our time unforgettable was the staff. Every single member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The food was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and with great variety. The portions were generous, and we’re pretty sure we left having gained a few happy pounds! The resort itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. We truly miss our time at Kalandara Resort and would return in a heartbeat. "The staff, air con & bed were very good. However this hotel is more suited to local guests, especially families, than international travelers. Eg the nearest atm is a 15 min taxi ride away. Also this hotel holds large corporate functions so access to the pools can at times be limited."

"Unless you pay for the expensive package, you need to be very mobile. All bathrooms in the reasonable rate category come with bathtubs only. There are no grab bars or anything for support. The walls have signs of humidity decay. The pool meant for everyone's use is very small considering. We paid to upgrade because of this. The website says the beach is close. Its not. Its a 35 minute walk. We paid for an all inclusive package. The kitchen had major issues. They tried hard but left things lacking. Also, be ready for a wakeup at 4 am or so bc this hotel seems to be right next to a speaker for the call to prayers. The spa is very nice. The beds are outrageously hard. We used the cushions from the patio furniture to help as the hotel had no way to fix this issue. "
