"We felt well cared for while spending two nights at La Bonne Auberge with our German Shepard. Emmanuel, the host, had a dog bed, water dish and disposable bags in the room on our arrival. The room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed and nice linens. The view from the terrace was spectacular, especially at night. "Great hotel to spend a few nights but not really suitable to stay for a week as rooms are quite small and lack a fridge. Bed and pillows are very comfortable and noise from other rooms minimal. Great breakfast with an excellent choice of fresh produce, pastries and nuts/dried fruit. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to requests. All areas within the hotel are clean and well maintained. The hotel serves food at night (hot and cold buffet) and there are a few other places to eat nearby. The location is quiet as it is on the outskirts of Cahors. It is about a 30 minute walk to the centre via a path next to the road or through the retail park on the other side of the river."
