We did not expect to have to ask about linrn, which may no udually be supplied, but coming from far away one certainly doesn't do so with linen.. The wifi in the house is goid, but Internet connectivity is reall flakey and slow. This is soen to the communications company, nor the owner. "Just be ready" to not depend on "

"Cannot fault the property, it has everything for a very enjoyable stay. The pool area is lovely with the added benefit of a separate covered seating area which is always in the shade for those really hot days. We also liked that the pool is one depth throughout. The Auberge opposite serves good food and is not expensive and the village store two minutes walk away has everything you might need. "Accueil tres sympathique. Un logement qui s est révélé mieux que sur les photos : chambres très spacieuses et décorées avec goûts. Linge de lit et serviettes fournies ce qui est bien appreciable. Et gîte tres bien situé aussi bien pour le ski que pour les randonnées. Nous avons passé un très bon sejpur."

"Séjour d’une semaine à Formiguères qui s’est très bien et très vite passé! La maison est très agréable à vivre, un séjour assez spacieux ça fait plaisir! Les chambres sont munies de rangements suffisamment grands pour ranger les affaires surtout les vêtements de ski !La famille qui nous a accueilli a été très sympa et réactive, on a pu visiter également leur bergerie, les enfants ont adoré! Merci pour l’accueil, je recommande vivement!"

"La maison a de beaux volumes, très bien située dans un petit village au calme. Belle piscine bien entretenue. Mais il n’y a qu’un petit drap de bain prévu par personne pour tout votre séjour ( nous sommes restés 2 semaines.) Ce n’est vraiment pas assez, comment on fait avec la piscine et la douche ? Pas de coussin de chaises le long de la piscine, comment on fait avec ces petites serviettes pour ne pas se brûler contre le plastique des chaises? Il y a un éclairage au pourtour et dans la piscine...

"Mooie gite met uitzicht op de bergen. Midden in de natuur en toch vlakbij Quillan. Fijne plungepool en buitendouche op relaxt terras met optimale privacy (nergens inkijk). Heel compleet qua inrichting.Eenvoudige maar goede maaltijdservice en we konden zelfs een lekker menu eten in hun salon. We vinden het een aanrader want Sicco en Marina zijn een goede gastheer-/vrouw en hadden leuke tips voor uitstapjes in de buurt. We gaan zeker terug."

"Rural gite, ideal for a couple like us. Not in walking distance of bars/restaurants but Chalabre is a 5 minute drive. No wifi, and signal was not great, so keep in mind, as we had a little stress with online check in for our return flight"

"Characterful, spacious house, wonderful views of Canigou and the valley. Very helpful shop keepers and delightful little cafe - as we travelled by train and bus this was very useful. Very good walks from the village. Wonderful bird-life"

"Nous avons passé d’agréables vacances tous les 7.. Un village très accueillant, généreux, où il fait bon de vivre et de laisser les enfants jouer librement en toute sécurité.. Les propriétaires sont super dispos et nous ont renseigné plein d’endroits à découvrir.. Des petites attentions nous attendait et à notre arrivée.. Great stay at Gite des Patiasses

"Really enjoyed our stay. The gite is situated in a picturesque spot in the hills above Couiza and was a good base for visiting the Cathar castles, local towns and villages. The gite was very clean and well equipped. We had plenty of space to relax in after our trips out, good garden area & barbecue. Annie-Claude and her husband were very welcoming and helpful, with good advice about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Carl & David "

Little oasis of calm

"We had a highly enjoyable stay at Jean-Pierre and Basanti's place. They have almost singlehandedly created a little oasis of calm in the hills, right down to planting all the grass, trees, vegetables and plants on the property; as well as building both houses!It was more like being hosted by family than a commercial transaction. As well as being on-hand to make sure we had everything we needed, the hosts were incredibly tolerant and welcoming of our children wanting to run around, explore, and participate in their outdoor work.Other reviewers noted the pool is a short walk from the house. This is a definite plus with small children.We'd definitely stay agin."
