From here, we were able to easily visit many of the famous Dordogne villages and chateaux. Florence and Laurent, the apartment owners, were welcoming and supportive throughout our stay. "Great little find in Sarlat. Ideally placed for the old town amid the hustle and bustle of restaurants, shops and sights yet a peaceful little oasis with its little courtyard and good windows to keep the street noise out. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and with comfortable beds. Sandrine was a wonderful host. We would definitely go back."

"Really beautiful place. Beautifully furnished (not IKEA!), totally nice bathrooms. Location is absolute heart of Sarlat - but up on the second floor - so you could hear the (summer) crowds below, but be “above it all” - very fun while making dinner for ourselves :-))! No a/c, so needed windows open - and it can be noisy - but for us, part of being in Europe! Well equipped kitchen (tho add ice cube trays, salad bowl). And be aware they charge an add’l fee $85 for linens (tho good quality linens)....

"Very impressed with the apartment, we loved every minute there and wished we’d booked longer. The balcony was lovely to sit out on even with the road being directly below, we had all five of us sat there chatting on a few occasions. Inside the property the layout suited everyone with several places to sit and the pool was an added bonus. Location is perfect, minutes away from Lidl for supplies and a nice walk into Sarlat centre. There are many narrow passages with restaurants and shops to go...

"Overall experience of the property: - Owners friendly, with a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival - Fantastic pool and a lovely garden - Superb location to visit all of the key areas / sights within the Dordogne Few points to note: - The stairs in the property are very steep, therefore, not suitable for young children or the elderly - The wifi didn't work very well and was intermittent - not a deal breaker but useful to have - Very hot upstairs as no fans or a/c - again not a deal breaker...
