Perfect location, great apartment
Bonaventura 4 was the perfect apartment for my first visit to Girona. Right in the middle of the old town, just steps away from the cathedral and surrounded by cafes and restaurants. It's a 5 minute walk down to the Pont de Pedra and just over 10 minutes on foot from the train station. The apartment is in a historic old building but completely renovated and modern on the inside. Three small balconies allow you to open the doors, letting in lots of sunlight and fresh air. Double pane glass keeps the outside noise to a minimum when things get busy in the evening. Just one word of caution, don't plan on keeping a bike in the apartment if you are a cyclist, you won't be able to get it on the elevator and you don't want to try carrying it up and down the stairs. Aside from that everything else was great and I wouldn't hesitate to come back.
Sleep & Stay management was very responsive and made checkin a breeze. Their office is just down the street from the apartment so they are easy to contact.
