"We enjoyed our stay at the Sands apartment. It was a nice area with lovely views looking out to north beach. We stayed in a duplex apartment on the ground floor and felt the bedrooms were a bit small and cramped. Not enough storage space eg. No chest of drawers in the main bedroom and only 10 hangers between two adults. We lived out our cases. The outside patio area and chairs were filthy and not cleaned for our arrival. Perfect long weekend venue

"We spent 3 nights at the Feathers Hotel in one of its Deluxe Double Rooms. The hotel location is right on the Market square so, in the centre of Helmsley with easy access to all of the great things Helmsley has to offer. Our room, located at the back of the main building was, comfortable, clean and well equipped, with some unexpected personal touches, such as sleep spray, handwritten welcome note. The staff were awesome professional, friendly and happy to help with anything we needed and the Feathers has a great restaurant to cap a really enjoyable long weekend stay."
