"Every basic thing I needed, clean and working and organized. No frills on anything else. The walls (and floors!) seemed thin and you could here others in all the rooms, and when walking on the floors they seemed to also echo sound. But I slept well and that's what matters."

"The design of the property artistically preserved the building's old exterior with a contemporary interior design. The staff were very helpful, courteous and friendly. Our room was well designed, clean and comfortable. Importantly there was ample light during the day and night. Beds were comfortable. I appreciated that there is a gym; although the space is small."

"Everyone was helpful, accommodating and very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Car parking in rear lot saved us lots of time not having to look for parking spots. There are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Kelvingate Park was a beautiful walk through. The hotel was only 5 minutes from the M8."

"Great location just a block off the pedestrian only city centre walking areas. Really good for parking too - underground lot entered into from behind the hotel just be ready for those wicked switchbacks going from floor to floor. Rooms good, bar area very nice, strong breakfast with haggis and potato scones available and good."
