Set in a peaceful meadow next to a beautiful orchard just ten minutes from Glastonbury in Somerset, Braeburn luxury lodge is the perfect retreat for couples, families, or groups of friends, wanting to escape to peace and tranquillity for a touch of ecotherapy. Day trips to the Dorset's stunning coast, Longleat Safari Park, farm and wildlife experiences, and spa days are all within easy reach of this idyllic haven.
As you enter the stylish luxury lodge, there's a large open-plan kitchen and living area. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook up a storm after a day exploring (or relaxing!).
The table inside Braeburn will easily seat up to six guests, and is perfect for chillier nights when you want a cosy supper with the wood burning stove blazing away in the background. In the summer months, why not enjoy sun downers on the decking and then an evening meal al fresco, making use of the firepit and outside dining area – or just roll up the canvas and have the best of both while eating inside! The sitting room area is cosy and comfy as well as being ideal for playing the games provided for your enjoyment.
The master bedroom is home to a welcoming king-size four poster bed, whilst the twin bedroom has two single beds, and the third bedroom has a cosy double cabin bed. All beds have quality mattresses and Egyptian cotton linen to ensure a good night's sleep.
The bathroom is in a cabin just next to the tent, with decking in-between making your late night trips are made as easy as possible! The bathroom boasts a walk-in shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail, as well as complimentary toiletries.
Outside on the decking is the ideal place to watch the sun go down – or up! Under cover outdoor seating is provided as well as a table, benches and a firepit on the grass in front of the tent. A few meters from the tent are apple and pear orchards, and willow, ash and bamboo, along with beautiful wild flowers, all of which you are welcome to wander around and explore.
A games room and large dining area in the main farmhouse is available to hire for special group occasions, and a pizza oven is also available for use - the site owner's will show you how to use it and give you supplies, then leave you to it - please enquire in advance.
Three other lodges on-site can be booked in conjunction with Braeburn; Bramley, Russet and Pippin.
