"The accommodation was spotless with careful thought given to fine detail to make our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. We were welcomed upon arrival and informed about local amenities which was very helpful. Also, had help carrying our luggage to our room which was very much appreciated. The outside of the property reflected the high standard which was also evident inside. The bedroom was simply, yet tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable contributing to a good night’s sleep in peaceful surroundings. The only suggestion would be to provide somewhere to hang wet towels after a shower. We made use of the well resourced shared kitchen/dining area enjoying fresh bread, cereal and coffee as provided. Although we didn’t use it, the living/entertainment area is wonderfully calm being tastefully decorated and again well designed and resourced. The walk into the centre of town took us around 30 minutes and was very straightforward. The property has a car park and easy access to the surrounding coast line and routes. We would unreservedly recommend a stay here and hope to return in the future. "

"We received a very warm welcome by Josie and Gerard who were very friendly. Accommodation was spotlessly clean. Our room was very well presented, the bed was comfortable and the tea tray refilled daily. There was chilled water and extra milk provided in a small fridge on the landing. Bathroom was cleaned and tidied daily. We had the Irish breakfast each day which included an excellent choice of cereals, yoghurt, freshly prepared fruit salad and juices. The fried breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented by Gerard. Josie always went around the tables to each set of guests to check all was ok and enquire about their day. In other words everything was perfect and we will definitely book again when in the area. "

"Gail was amazing! She was very accommodating and had excellent suggestions for dining. In addition, to my surprise, she offered avocado toast for breakfast—it was my first sighting of avocado since leaving California almost two weeks—_ big plus in my book!"

"Close to town centre but no usb charging in the room"

"Mark and Mikayla are wonderful hosts! We showed up late after pointing ourselves to the wrong Causeway B&B. Having not eaten we whined a bit and Mikayla whipped up some chips and chicken wings in a quick minute. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet with all the necessities and the optional breakfast (made to order) was tasty and filling. The location is excellent but you will need to self transport, no bus service at this time and a cab (if available?) would be pricey. If you are open hearted and ready to change it up a little from the typical tourist experience- Causeway Tavern is for you."
