"This amazing getaway is by far the best short-term rental experience I’ve had. I could write a book on the little thoughtful things that make the home and hosts top notch! Here are a few of the highlights:-super clean and obviously well-maintained home-welcome book with all the detail you could ever want about the home, lake, and local amenities-labels throughout kitchen to help find things -lots of basic kitchen staples already in the cabinets (some spices, coffee, paper goods, a little welcome snack basket, and so much more)-numerous well-appointed outdoor spaces to enjoy-super attentive and responsive communication from the friendly hosts - best hosts I’ve encountered, no doubtOur family enjoyed using the kayaks to explore the lake (easy to learn for the beginner in our family) and swimming/floating by the dock. Some of my favorite moments were watching the fish and birds early in the morning from the dock with my coffee :)Both of my grandkids caught several fish right off the dock in the heat of the day, which surprised us all (with minnows)! Many memories were made. This was an amazing birthday weekend, and we cannot wait to return."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would gladly return! From the moment we booked, communication with the host was exceptional. Every question was answered quickly, and check-in was smooth and stress-free.The property is beautiful and feels like a peaceful retreat. The home is spacious, clean, and tastefully updated, with gorgeous wood floors and a well-equipped, modern kitchen that made preparing meals easy. It had everything we needed to feel right at home.The lake views are breathtaking. We spent hours relaxing on the covered back porch, where the cool breeze made it comfortable even during the warmer parts of the day. There are also beautiful shade trees overlooking the water if you prefer to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The area of the lake is quieter than many others, making it perfect for relaxing, fishing, or simply watching nature. We even spotted a few alligators from a safe distance, which added to the unique experience!If you have a boat, you'll appreciate having a boat house and a convenient place to launch and enjoy time on the water. After spending the day outside, it was nice to come back and grill dinner on the patio while enjoying another gorgeous sunset. The host also provided games, which made for fun evenings together.The property sits back off the road, so there was very little traffic noise. The peaceful setting, rolling hills, beautiful lake views, and constant breeze created the perfect getaway."

"Property was nice in a quiet neighborhood.The Host was very nice and accommodating. Just because the time of the year and being in East Texas, there were a lot of bugs, spiders and ants outside, but that didn’t scare us, just grateful to get of Houston and sit on the lake.My 2 teenagers enjoyed the game room; it was a nice touch so they stayed entertained. I liked all the big TV’s in all rooms. I know it sounds shallow, but we needed down time and it was 100 degrees; but nice early in the morning and after Sundown.I would definitely go again - maybe in the Fall!"
