The property is big, clean and ready to accept renters. Large fire pit was the place for our evenings with kids and grandparents. The balcony was our place for breakfasts and dinners. Very homie atmosphere. Close proximity to Old Forge. Loved it and will be back for sure!"

"This is a wondeful 130-year-old hotel right on 4th Lake. Everything is within walking distance and the Laughing Loon is a good place to have a meal, a snack, and/or a drink. If there is a negative, it's the stairs - if you cannot do stairs, then this may not be the place for you."

"Great cabin for a stay in the Adirondacks. Close to Old Forge its lake and attractions, as well a great jumping off point for travel further into the mountains. Cabin was clean, with open windows facing the sun. Large deck on main level, large family room with large TV for movies on lower level. Well supplied kitchen for those who like to cook. Could use more silverware and cups and better lighting for reading. Warm and cozy warm wood interior. All in all a great place to stay in the Adirondacks."
