"WATCH OUT!!!! This property, and the people we interacted with for the reservation via Expedia, was a total scam. It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. Unfortunately, our trip was somewhat last minute, so we didn't have many local options for Skye, but this property / representatives were the absolute worst. STAY AWAY!!!"

"Cozy, extremely well designed and efficient, spectacular views in a quiet and private and quaint location. 10 min drive back “The Street” where the sunsets are magical looking across the water to Isle of Skye. Applecross Inn is a great place for late afternoon drinks and dinner. Marion is a great host. "Skye is a special place and Braken Hide is great. The restaurant is amazing. Incredible breakfast and dinner. Most amazing is the service of the head waiter who is unfailing friendly and efficient. The tiny rooms are actually quite comfy. The shower was outstanding -- great water pressure. Its hard to sit up in bed because of the sloping ceiling, but otherwise very comfy and efficient. Amazing view from the front porch. "
