It was good as a normal hotel. You get what you pay for. If you want a hotel that is cheap and convenient, I think it is a good option and there are large stores available to you.

Overall very nice hotel, simple and quite old but very well maintained and clean. Excellent location for exploring the area including Perth and Dundee. Breakfat very simple and Scottish but not to our liking.

Plenty of parking on arrival. Receptionist was very helpful explaining all we needed to know. The room was very spacious with everything we needed. Breakfast was superb with lots of choices from hot breakfast items, cereal, toast, croissants and rolls. Choice of fruit juices and coffees. Overall excellent accommodation .

Very clean hotel. Great location for golf travellers. Great pub next door. Just be aware that many workers use this hotel and as such noise starts around 06.00. You can hear everything next door and stomping above. Doors bang loudly.

The room was tiny. The bathroom was so tiny the door closed on the toilet as well as the shower room door. The beds were like water beds no support at all. I asked for a fan for the room and was no we don’t have any. When i asked for extra pillows i met with a sigh and told if i can find some i will get you some. The breakfast was all overcooked. I did ask if they had a room with different beds and was told all the beds are the same. On day 3 we had had no sleep and made the decision to go home. We had 2 more days on our stay but couldn’t take any more.

The staff were super friendly and went out their way to help us. We arrived at 12.30 as we had a wedding to go to at Balbirnie House. We knew the room wouldn’t be ready for check in but the staff went out their way to turn our room around so we could drop our bags and have a quick freshen up before leaving at 1.15 for the wedding. The lady on reception also arranged a taxi for us. Thanks again.

Location was good, staff were friendly, free parking is always a plus. It really wasn't a great stay thou overall, little bit noisy at night, my little one banged their head constantly on the poorly designed headboard feature. Breakfast wasn't great, I didn't like how the cereal was out it's packet and it was poorly layed out, wasn't wheelchair or pram friendly very difficult to navigate the pram through the tight tables. (The lady on breakfast staff was very accommodating helping with this thou, but it shouldn't be unaccessible in the first place). In the room one pillow per guest just isn't enough, then there is signs saying forgot something ask us, so I went and asked for a sanitary towel to be told no the trolley is empty we don't have anything at all, it really wasn't good enough for a big hotel chain to be honest.
