The owner did arrive, apologised for the mix up and made an effort to clean it, but we just wanted to relax after a 4 hour drive on Christmas Eve. He perhaps didn't have enough time to clean properly because every area was dirty from floors, to shower to kitchen items and the fridge had expired food in it. "Simple, functional space in a quiet reserved farming area. The cottage had everything we needed, and it was just a short drive to Rangiora. David brought us fresh-baked bread, which was fantastic. We ran into some unexpected health issues and David was extraordinarily kind and helpful."
