It was clean and appeared to have been updated recently. Pillows were not very good, we used the pillows off the second bed. Breakfast was basic, but worked for us. Quiet and convenient.

Since it’s the only hotel in Glenwood Iowa, it’s pretty nice. They take very good care of it. It’s very clean. The rooms are pretty spacious and it was near a lot of restaurants. I would stay here again if I’m in town for a wedding.

Clean room, cleaning lady was super nice to my family. The front desk old lady was very nice. The hair dryer did not work, bathroom door didn’t work, needs to be fixed. The breakfast was limited. Parking area, clean and spacious. I really liked staying here. However, unfortunately something very embarrassing happened at the end when I was getting ready to leave. My wife about to get a shower when an old man opened our room without knocking or saying a word. She had the bathroom door open, she had no clothes on, so he saw her without anything on. She wasn’t feeling good after that and when we left, she said the man who entered the room, was the man at the front desk. I just don’t understand why he would do that because it wasn’t even time for check out. It was a little bit after 10am and we were getting ready to leave. There was no reason for him to open that door.

This is an older motel that has been refurbished. The main areas looked nice and were clean. Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean with the exception of the bathroom vent fan. Big dust bunnies in the light cover of the fan. Bathroom was clean. The bed was a nice foam mattress and comfortable for me. Very basic accommodations in my room. No coffee maker and no cups for water or anything else. My complaint is lack of security. The secondary exit was unlocked all night. This is a clean and comfortable motel.

As the only hotel in Glenwood iowa, it is sufficient. Older carpet, very minimal continental breakfast but good coffee. The rooms have a recliner which is nice, and a refrigerator and microwave.

We came down with friends and motorcycles. The staff was very kind, they even offered to let us park the motorcycles under the canopy. Beds & pillows were comfy, rooms were clean. Breakfast was very limited, which wasn't a problem for us. Very affordable. We would stay here again.

Friendly owner

This is second time staying there the place was very clean and the owner very helpful. It was quiet place i was not woke up because of doors slamming during the night. The only thing i could recommend is repairing parking lot. i know i will stay again.
