"This property is a bit out of the way and rustic but very charming and we enjoyed our stay. Loved the sound of the stream at night and all of the indoor and outdoor entertaining space. There was even a ping-pong table and foosball in the unfinished basement which we enjoyed. Bring your own paddles and balls as the equipment is on its last legs."

There was some confusion with the bunk beds, as there is one set of twin bunk beds in the room, and when I asked we were told they were one set of full, so we had to make due with some tighter sleeping arrangements with 4 kids. "Very nice kitchen, large spaces, great location to Basalt and ski areas. Completely satisfied our needs, nice to find a basic house in ski country. Figuring out the heat and thermostats took a little time, and the lights above the kitchen counter never came on. Few wall hangings, decorations, or mirrors. When we needed propane for grilling the property manager immediately provided us with what we needed and was very polite. "An absolutely comfortable home with a beautiful "mountain cabin feel" and having an excellent layout so everyone has their own space. Large bedrooms, great kitchen, perfect dining room and a drive big enough for our cars. We so loved out the living room was "warm and comfortable and the dining room felt like it was out of a movie set". Plus, it is a brief easy walk to the shops and restaurants of Basalt."
