The Neighborhood:
The home is nestled along Little River, offering peaceful waterfront living with easy access to Gloucester’s best attractions. Good Harbor Beach is about 10 minutes away, with wide sandy shoreline and surf-friendly waves. Wingaersheek Beach is about 15 minutes away and is known for calm water, soft sand, and family-friendly beach days.
Stage Fort Park is about 5 minutes away and offers Half Moon Beach, Cressy’s Beach, picnic areas, walking paths, a playground, and a splash pad. For outdoor exploring, Dogtown Commons offers historic wooded trails and a quiet inland escape.
Downtown Gloucester is about 7 minutes away, with seafood restaurants, shops, harbor views, and classic maritime character.
Getting Around:
A car is recommended for exploring Gloucester, Cape Ann, and the surrounding beaches. The home is conveniently located near many of the area’s best destinations.
By car, guests can easily reach Downtown Gloucester, Stage Fort Park, Good Harbor Beach, Wingaersheek Beach, Rockport, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and other nearby coastal towns.
Guests can also enjoy nearby walking and biking routes, including Stage Fort Park, the Boulevard along Gloucester Harbor, Dogtown Commons, and scenic rides toward Eastern Point or across the Annisquam River bridges.
The Gloucester MBTA Commuter Rail station is about an 8-minute drive from the home and connects to Boston’s North Station. Seasonal water shuttles, harbor cruises, whale watches, and fishing charters also depart from Gloucester’s working waterfront.
Other Things to Note:
The three upstairs bedrooms feature open ceilings, a hallmark of traditional New England cottages designed to help airflow throughout the space. Because of this design, sound does travel between rooms. White noise machines are provided in each bedroom for added comfort and privacy.
The landscape of Little River changes with the tides. We recommend checking the Hi Tide app or a local tide chart when planning dock, kayak, or water activities.
Amenities include a fully stocked kitchen, central air conditioning, Smart TV with Roku, outdoor grill, private dock, and more.
Guests are welcome to bring bikes, kayaks, or paddleboards, or rent them locally for a full waterfront experience.
The boat is not included with the rental of the property. Please do not board the boat or sit on the bow.
Interaction with Guests:
We give guests privacy during their stay, but we are available if anything comes up. Our team can be reached by phone, email, or the booking platform’s app for questions, recommendations, or support before and during your stay.
Guests will receive check-in details, house information, and any important property notes prior to arrival.
