"The location could not have been better walking distance to Wawel Castle, Vistula River, and Old Town Main Square. An added bonus is the store, JUBILAT for groceries and souvenirs. We stayed 8 nights because of the advertised washer/dryer that were not effective. Plus, no change of sheets not to mention we made our own bed. The only regular cleaning provided was trash can garbage removal every day. On day one, 2 small shampoo and lotion bottles were provided with no replacements throughout our stay. This tiny apartment would be wonderful if the ongoing service were provided. One other recommendation: provide instructions on appliance operation since they are foreign to travelers."

"The rooms was quirky because of all the red brick. Used to be apartments before it was made into what it is now. There was no lunch or dinner service in the “à la carte” restaurant and hasn’t been for more than two years. There was that amount of dust in the breakfast room on the floor and other surfaces and the fire extinguisher which was rather worrying as it told me it’s probably out of date. The floors never get mopped or even hoovered. So wear something on your feet in your room at all times or you’ll have black feet. Floors in the corridor looked clean though. The water has a funky smell,like drains. The showerhead stank,not that you could shower with it unless you hand held it sat on the seat of the bath. Black stuff came out of the jets of the bath. At nighttime the pipework would gurgle as if blocked and backed up. Again a worry about other fire extinguishers on another level and the filters need changed in the aircon as it left a not too nice a smell in the room when it was on. The double bed has two single duvets. The maid tidied the bed but never changed anything and would wash up your coffee cup from that morning and changed the towels which are not that soft but serviced by an outside company,so not the hotels fault. The stay was lovely in the region and the hotel is perfectly positioned for the old town square. Breakfast is rather limited unless you like eggs done about 4 different ways,but not boiled and the fresh orange is amazing. Most staff 100%"

"Breakfast was poor in so many ways, ground floor toilets was dirty as someone had toileted on the seat and also others were dirty. Twin beds were too close together On the positive it was a good location for the market square and castle, reception were really helpful from check in to,check out and in between, they were all friendly and professional and treated us like individuals rather than just another guest."
