"Finding the hotel was easy, being a first-time visitor to Swakop. Secure parking at the hotel. Check-in quick and easy; unfortunately the lift had just broken down, but help was on hand for our luggage. Staff pleasant andd ready to assist with any query. Our room was great, with sea views and views of the city. Would not hesitate to stay at the Beach Hotel on next visit to Swakop, and it is highly recommended."

"We booked the junior suite at the Strand Hotel at the last minute through Expedia after we decided to travel to the Skeleton Coast on a whim. Don’t miss this hotel! It was worth every penny. The accommodation and service are 5 star! The breakfast selection is not to be beat. There are many dining options on and off property. The concierge recommended a guided tour of Sandwich Harbour, booked the tour for us and set up transportation. It was phenomenal! The massage at the spa was fantastic. The room with a balcony view of the ocean was stunning. No detail is missed at The Strand Hotel. I highly recommend it!"
