"The cabin was great. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The cabin had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fireplace and the peace and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was luxurious. The hot tub was on and ready to go when we arrived and seemed well taken care of. We will definitely be booking another stay. "

"THIS IS INFORMATIONAL: A burner on the stove did not light. The quilt on the bed was lumpy. Some pillows need cleaning. The sink in the bathroom drained slowly.AND THIS IS IMPORTANT: When my wife was unloading the dishwasher, she raised her head and smacked hard against the overhanging cabinet. That cabinet should not be there. Someone could get badly hurt."

"We go to the Gold Bar area a few times a year, but this was our first time at this location. We happened to pick a very stormy weekend, but between showers it was great to watch a couple of river otters play on the bank of the river from the large windows in the living room"

"Place was really nice, kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed. The real gem of this property is the outdoor space. Even though it was raining we spent hours outside under the covered space with the heater and were able to comfortably enjoy the fire pit.Everything was clean, organized and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay"

"A+ 10 out of ten!! (But don't tell anybody.) The setting and scenery at The Whistling River Cabin are unbelievable. And the large deck is built to take full advantage of it. The hosts didn't miss a detail. Even the kitchen was very well equipped and was surprisingly well-stocked with items we did not expect to find. The gas grill was brand new. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, plus the wood-burning stove inside. Comfortable beds. Clean throughout. Great sitting areas outside and inside. Fantastic river access for our morning cold-plunge. The hosts were gracious and helpful throughout our stay. This really is an exceptional place - run by exceptional hosts. Thank you! "

"This very clean rental had views of 3 craggy rock peaks right out the kitchen window. A short, one block hike on the community path took me straight to the beautiful river nearby. The host left us 2 small servings bags of coffee so we could sit and have a beautiful morning sunrise!"
