"The nicest part of this hotel was the lobby and location other wise mid. The elevators were limited and slow. The AC in our room was outdated and did not cool. We got in late and the next morning a housekeeper knocked on our door at 9am and when we told her we did not need her services she insisted on us opening the door to give us towels. We had enough towels. We put the do not disturb door plaque and did not use housekeeping services for the rest of our stay. The sheet and the shower curtain had weird stains. I think there are nicer places to stay in this area for similar price. Would not stay here again or recommend."

"Quality Suites NYC Gateway I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, the property’s condition did not match the images provided on the Expedia booking site, and I found the overall environment to be in urgent need of renovation. During my stay, I noted several significant issues: - Guest Room: The bathtub was rusted, and the surface was peeling. - Lobby: The furniture at the front desk was cracked. - Hallways: The carpets throughout the hallways were visibly dirty. The discrepancy between the online representation and the actual state of the hotel resulted in a very poor experience from the moment I arrived. I hope you will take these concerns into consideration as you plan future improvements to the property."
