"This property suited our needs perfectly for a brief stopover travelling with our dog. The check in was friendly. The chalet spacious & clean & had been thoughtfully warmed for our early evening arrival on a cold, wet day. The property offers excellent value & simple in room amenities. It is a bit worn & dated but with a very comfortable bed, refurbished bathroom & cosy heatpump we were more than happy. We Would happily stay again!"

The main pool is hot, approx 36 degrees so ideal for early morning and late evening dips rather then only during busy day time periods with family's Buffet is average but only charged per adult head so if traveling with multiple kids, value for money."

"Great resort for a family holiday. My kids loved it and we were happy that they were happy. One tiny thing was that the windows all opened out to the roadways so curtains needed to be drawn for privacy. Would have been nice if they were tinted. But wasn’t a biggie. "We are a University club, and we stayed here for our executive team bonding camp recently. The venue is absolutely STUNNING, with rolling hills and valleys surrounding the entire place, and an accessible lake for swimming and kayaking. We loved that the kitchen and living rooms were spacious, yet full of activities to do - such as ping pong tables, board games, National Geographic magazines to read, and more. We also appreciated that the firewood was chopped and ready to go for our fires! There were only a few downsides, and this included...- Cockroaches in the fridge (it gave us quite the fright whilst putting our groceries in!);-- The first aid kit (which we had to use when an exec member fell over) being extremely old and containing expired medication; and,-- A kayak which had a major crack in it and could no longer float. Otherwise, everything was generally clean and tidy, and the bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas were great.Overall, amazing place for large groups of people!"
