"We returned this year (2026) with the kids because we had a pretty nice time last year (2025) when we stayed here for the Lantern Festival. The pool was ok, kids said the water was cold. The hot tub was ok, jets were not working. No towels available in pool area, you have to rent them at the front desk and return them when you are done or else it’s $10 each extra on top of what you are already paying. This year, we were told the bar & kitchen was closed due to renovations. There was hot coffee which we did not partake. Last year the bar & kitchen was open but everything was expensive and there is no complimentary breakfast included with the room pricing. The mattress was kind of lumpy and just made us miss our memory foam at home! On top of that, our first night there, the fire alarm went off at 1am and fire trucks came but nobody was able to tell us anything about what was going on. All of our lives were at stake and we couldn’t get an answer about anything. We ended up not being able to go back to sleep because we didn’t know if everything was really ok. Overall, we probably will not be staying here again when we go back for the Lantern Festival next year (2027)."
