"Pictures makes you believe much nicer than it is. When we checked in, asked for 2 keys and told could only have 1. Dirty dishes (not ours) outside of door for 2 days. We called to complain before they picked up. Bathroom smelled and shower drain was slow, so bathroom flooded if didn't take quick shower. Breakfast was good, but it started at 6am and when we arrived at 7, lots of empty pans. The staff tried to put out other food, but was apparent they were not prepared for the hotel to be full....

"Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was so good, many options to choose from. The service was excellent, the hotel staff always greeted us with a smile. Would definitely recommend staying at the Melia and I would come back to stay if I come back to Yogyakarta. "
