"A good, clean and convenient hotel located directly beside the train station. Rooms are small, tidy and extremely simply appointed. But if all you are looking for is a safe, clean and convenient place to sleep and shower that is extremely affordable (and has air conditioning), you should consider this hotel."

"Stayed at B&B Mechelen several times now, always clean and well presented as a hotel. Staff are always great and willing to help. The only thing that I would mark it down on is having to pay €15 euros a day to park, maybe its common in Belgium."

"Really nice space and size. Really good location to the main attractions/bars/restaurants and Leuven is beautiful. Only criticism is that it was too hot in the room. Some air con or temp control needed. Fans provided but needed more."

"I enjoyed everything. They had a gym - small but everything worked (rare)! I also got an injury and they got me bags of ice twice, which was so kind. Would stay again in a heartbeat."

"This hotel was so lovely, in such a quiet and beautiful area. Our room was so clean and comfortable and we particularly loved the honesty bar, sitting out in the garden and watching the swifts fly in the evening. It was very tranquil. We had breakfast one morning and it was very comprehensive although a little expensive. We had a great breakfast in the centre of Leuven another day too. A brilliant trip, would definitely recommend."
