"We arrived early and inquired about checking in. Were told the room was ready but there was a $40 early check in fee. It was 1:45pm and check in was 3:00 pm. We waited. Check in was smooth. "Charming lodge in a rural setting. Lodge was well appointed, very clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. A great place for a quick get-away, a romantic weekend, or a family vacation. Beatiful area and plenty to do... or do nothing at all. Close by to a lot of natural areas. Pleanty of wildlife opportunites. Host Karen is an excellent communicator, very responsive, and made the arrival process very smooth. We would stay here again anytime!"
