Holiday Inn Express Manchester City Centre Arena by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"From the start to the finish the experience at this hotel was amazing. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, the room was so lovely and quiet. The beds were so comfortable and as we were on the top floor the view was so interesting. The breakfast had everything you could want, and everything was so clean. Loved the idea of an 11 o’clock check out. Would definitely recommend this hotel"

Kimpton Clocktower by IHG

"Fantastic location and building. All the community areas were smashing and grand. The breakfast tasted really good but the logistics were really bad, had to wait for the coffee for a long time both days and a lot of empty trays at the buffet."

Daresbury Park Hotel

"The room had no kettle and the carpet was filthy. Bed was good comfortable. Central to city. You would know 2nd building was run down old Ibis building"

Crowne Plaza Hotel Manchester City Centre by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Everything about the hotel was fabulous. All staff were friendly, welcoming and polite. Good location. Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection of food and drinks. Plenty of shops and bars around the hotel. Convenient location for the coop live arena and the Etihad Stadium. All in all a great place to stay. Thank you to everyone who looked after us during our stay."

"Rooms were stylish and trying to keep in with Manchester heritage. However, the look made it seem unfinished, with plastered walls and broken tiles trying to create that working/factory/industrial look. The bathroom door needed planing that’s for sure as it wouldn’t shut easy. Walk in wet floor showers are nice, though the glass wall is short so water can leak out onto the wood floor if not careful. Good location though, not right in the night time heart but a short walk away. City centre also a short walk away."

Copthorne Hotel Manchester Salford Quays
8/10 Good
"The room that I was allocated had just been freshly decorated and was very clean. The bathroom amenities were good and the staff were very helpful. I will be staying over again in the near future."

Treehouse Hotel Manchester
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely amazing hotel to stay in from the location to the amenities to the decor all were outstanding. Only 1 thing let this hotel down during our stay and that was breakfast! Only thing I can describe it as was an absolute disaster… people queued for tables and made to wait 25 minutes to be seated… and then when you did finally get a table the “breakfast buffet” wasn’t stocked up at all leaving everyone standing around with half empty plates waiting for staff to fill things up… no plates/bowls etc… really bad. People were even seated at coffee tables leaving them eating breakfast off their knees which I have never seen in a hotel especially one like this of such high standards on everything else. That said I would definitely stay there again but would hope a bit more effort went into breakfast service given how much we spend to stay in such lovely surroundings"
