"The room was lovely with a large comfortable bed and ample space in the bedroom and bathroom, plus ample free parking. This is a dog friendly hotel and there seemed to be lots of guests with their dogs, as well as oursleves. The hotel is set in a lovely village with lots of green space easily accessable from the rooms to take the dog out for toilet breaks and beautiful countryside walks. We ate dinner in the pub, which was delicious and breakfast was equally delicious with the same high quality, local produce. We will definitely be staying here again."

"We can’t rate this hotel as when arrived wet, hungry and tired after a 22 mile walk the Old Hall Inn was CLOSED FOR BUSINESS and has been since January 2025!! We booked this last October 2024 but no one thought to let us know We are really not impressed with the service Then to add insult to injury Hotels.com asked us to review our non-existent stay We have yet to hear from Hotels.com with an explanation or at the very least an apology "

"Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. "

"We took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away. This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes. The building is very old and reached over an old stone bridge or the beck (stream) Parking is available and the room was nicely furnished with views of the water and a very comfy bed. The hotel and attached restaurant is completely plant based. I somehow missed this fact when booking but I needn’t have worried. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast even better. The staff were friendly and would consider again for a get away to see the stunning local scenery "
