"Hôtel proche de toutes commodités. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant car beaucoup aux alentours. Personnel sympathique, chambre propre et vaste, bonne literie, clic-clac 2 places pour ma fille, elle etait ravie! Petite bouteille d'eau offerte, pas mal avec cette chaleur. Sèche-cheveux avec embout concentrateur, c'est rare. Il était défaillant et a été changé dans la journée, merci. Attention cependant à ne pas changer les serviettes si elles sont pendues, ce sera plus ecologique."

"Really special place! Feels super historic/authentic while having a fun, whimsical amount of French kitsch. Feels like a members-only club. Bathrooms are particularly lovely, beds are comfortable, lots of closet space, and the staff is really friendly. Be weary that breakfast often isn't included in your rate and the wifi was a little slow for us. Although this was no bother - the only downside is that we didn't see the ghost of Napoleon, a former hotel guest ;)"

"Extremely Disappointing for a 4-Star Property We booked Le Palais d’Aglaé for our honeymoon, expecting a charming and relaxing escape with beautiful valley views. Unfortunately, what we received was a subpar experience that didn’t reflect a 4-star standard in service, hospitality, or comfort. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was far from welcoming, offering little assistance and a noticeably dismissive attitude. When we inquired about our room — which was supposed to have a valley view — we were instead given a room with two trees and a wall view (see attached photo). When we addressed the issue, we were told the hotel was full. However, rooms were still showing as available online, both on the hotel’s official site and on Expedia. Even after an Expedia representative called the hotel on our behalf, the staff refused to help or offer alternatives. To make matters worse, we were met with cold stares every time we passed the reception — not something any guest should experience, let alone during a honeymoon. The room itself felt like a dungeon, with minimal natural light and no ambiance — completely unsuitable for a romantic trip. Breakfast was equally disappointing. It was poorly organized, with missing utensils, almost no cooked food, and limited options (mostly pastries, bottled juice, and yogurt). We travel frequently, and this has been one of the most disappointing stays in France. The hotel is overpriced, overhyped. Would not recommend — we truly regret choosing "

"This was a bit of a surprise: the room was exactly as described and has a balcony overlooking the trees and the river. The bed is very comfortable, the rooms clean and spacious, and there's even a bath. Very happy - in fact I extended my stay as it's a great base to explore this area."

"Whatever your expectations for a five star luxury hotel, this property exceeded them. We have never been treated so personally, so warmly, and so professionally. From the minute, we arrived by car, they expected us, handled the check-in, and moved us to the front desk, where we were welcomed personally. Our rooms and all of the many restaurants, spa experiences, and views were exceptional. Above all, the concierge service was fantastic from advising us before our stay, during our stay, to offering us navigation For our departure. I would highly recommend this property or any in the Arielle family of luxury resorts. We departed with welcome gifts that we will cherish forever. The only downside was having to compare our next hotels to La Bastide de Gordes!"
