"Overall we enjoyed our stay. A couple things of note: Bringing black out shades is super helpful! The closet in the bedroom is big enough for a portable crib. Be sure to bring toilet paper. We only had one full and one partial roll between the two bathrooms(and they were paper thin). Because there isn’t anywhere super close, it’s nice to know to pack some ahead of time :) The road is so peaceful and we went on the trail quite a few times. "I stayed at this cabin with three friends to celebrate our 60th birthday year. The cabin is in a quiet peaceful setting yet is convenient to Berkeley Springs and nearby Cacapon State Park. "This is a stunning, beautifully decorated, well stocked house with a view and an incredible river access point. We spent the days just lounging about in the river chatting with the occasional kayaker who passed by, sitting by the firepit at night, and playing games on the beautiful screened-in porch. Two fridges, games in the basement, easy water access - might be one of the best VRBO rentals we've ever had. Already planning on booking again for next year."

"This cabin was a wonderful place to stay! It was quiet except for the sound of birds in the woods. The interior of the cabin was clean and well furnished; the bed was especially comfortable. While we didn't make use of the fire pit, the screened porch was our favorite place to sit day or night. Although it might have been too early for them, we felt relaxed on the porch knowing we wouldn't be attacked by mosquitoes or other bugs. It was easy to take our dog out for a walk on the back roads...

"This place was a great spot to meet up with our friends! We had 4 adults and 4 kids and everyone loved it. This place is quiet and secluded it was very nice and didn’t seem like a rental it felt like a persons home. We were very comfortable. Also, the back patio area is amazing! We spent a lot of time sitting back there and I’m not joking when I say we cooked every meal on the blackstone grill! What a great setup!"

"It was a great place to stay while checking out Berryville and some of the local attractions including Dinosaur Land, the Virginia Arboretum, and Sky Meadows. We enjoyed playing pool in the basement, grilling on the patio, and hanging out on the back deck. Also was great for the dogs to have an outdoor space to run around off leash. Would highly recommend to a group of couples with or without pets wanting a relaxing weekend in the area."

"Amazing stay in Cacapon. Place is idyllic. You really should have a 4x4 to get up the final hill. We almost didn’t make it multiple times. Scary situation! Also, there are 2 of this address. One in Cacapon and one in Berkeley. Make sure you enter the one in Cacapon! Otherwise amazing amazing amazing!"

"This house is a gem in progress. It was very spacious and naturally divided into separate areas so it worked well to group families with small children away from older couples without children. Several issues did develop during our stay which were immediately addressed. The dish washer was repaired and worked fine for us. The large common area had very minimal lighting but we moved lamps into the area to remedy that. There was ample refrigerator space but no freezer so we improvised with ice...
