"The overall is outstanding, howeever the building is very old and outdated. The heater did not work and I was force to sleep with my sweater and long johns on to stay warm. The bed was not comfortable. The hotel is close to the city center, and throughout my stay I didn't have any problems besides the condition of the hotel. For the cost to book at this hotel, I was expecting for better. "

"Amanzi is a beautiful peaceful oasis in the chaos of Harare. Stylish rooms set in a lovely well tended garden. The staff are friendly, offering service that is second to none, nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is first class with a wide selection of delicious meals. To cap it off all of this is available at very affordable rates."

"I really love this property and I love the garden. I hope one day they will put some Shona statues in the garden that was just top it off. However, if you book a standard room, expect to find met minor issues with it. If you book there, more expensive rooms, you’re likely not to find these minor issues. I ordered several dinner meals at an extra charge of $15 from the staff. I found a level of experience with cooking varied greatly that could be because I eat primarily a plant-based diet. I don’t think they get too many request for a plant-based diet in Zimbabwe. Hence there was a learning curve. However, there are several close by places to eat, like Cafe Nush And a Thai place across the street. All in all I had a lovely time at the Art Lodge."

"My son and I enjoyed staying at this lodge for eight days. We found it beautiful, serene, peaceful and well-maintained. The room service was excellent. We also were very happy with the shuttle service that was provided for the guests with a reasonable fee. We were able to easily and safely to go to any part of the town with one of the drivers. "
