"This is the first class property. And also first class staff. My wife and I bought a bottle of wine at dinner. By the end of dinner, we thought that we drank three bottles of wine. The reason why is because every time we took a sip or two the waiter would come and refill our glasses. Or I should say waiters. He was there so many times and was so attentive that we literally thought we drink three bottles of wine. It was a very beautiful experience. I was impressed with the property and the people."

"One of the best hotels I have stayed at in Italy! We loved Genova! The hotel was in a perfect location. The train station was a 5 minute walk to Genova Brignole which connected us to so many places including La Spezia, Rome, Pisa, Cinque Terre, etc. The bus station was also a 5 minute walk and we took buses 31 and 13 to the port and to Nervi as was Volabus to the airport (10 Euro, be on time though. It stops for 1 minute). Lots of dining options within walking distance (downtown area). The rooms were terrifc, just like the pictures showed...clean, neat and modern! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Monica suggested using the Volabus to the airport and another staff member took my request for an early morning breakfast bag since I was going to miss breakfast (I had paid for the breakfast pkg) and lo and behold at 4:45 am, there was a bag with juice, croissants, apple and spreads including plastic cutlery. I am so grateful. Thank you so much! "

"Lovely hotel in the traditional Italian Riviera style. Staff could not have been more helpful. Food and service were excellent. Only criticism was the lack of a shuttle service to the centre of town which, given the position of the hotel on top of a hill, the high cost of local taxis and the high temperatures, made it difficult for older customers or those with mobility difficulties."

"Excellent hotel with brilliant location in the centre of Genoa. Almost every major site is walkable from the hotel. Because of the prime location however, the hotel only provides valet parking (at a fee). Room was great, as was breakfast. We didn’t try the bar or restaurants so cannot comment. There are plenty of food options available around the hotel, and it felt very safe to walk around during the daytime and evenings. "

"What a fabulous hotel! Location is perfect for travelling around Liguria, with the ferry boat only 2 minutes walk. 10/10 for cleanliness and maid service. The room was nicely furnished and had a beautiful terrace overlooking the harbour. Breakfasts had a good selection of deli, fresh fruits and yoghurts. What made this hotel truly special was the staff. They could not do enough for us, and made our stay memorable! Will definitely be returning!"
