All in all it was a pleasant trip. Gortahork is stunning. The soft furnishings in the house were decent but the smell of the house and all the...

Arnolds Hotel

Dunfanaghy

10/10 Excellent

Arnold's is a wonderful hotel. It is right across the street from the "strand" (aka waterfront) and is the BEST place to stay in the northwest coastal region of Ireland. The people are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It is located on the "main" street through town (there is only one street) but is still a quiet, restful place to stay. The room was very clean and convenient for me as I am handicapped. I just can't say enough nice things about Arnold's!

Mary

A hotel lobby with a seating area, a reception desk, and a view of the street outside.

Waterfront Hotel Dungloe

Dungloe

10/10 Excellent

We really enjoyed our short stay at the Waterfront Hotel and hope to return some day. In lovely Dungloe right on the waterfront, it's walkable to the village and perfectly positioned for strolling the bay front. The modern and new hotel is quite comfortable and smart without being fussy. The staff, especially Sean at the front desk, were all on point and we were well look78ed after from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent with lots of fresh local ingredients. Our 3 rooms were very...
