"Lovely place, lovely host, and lovely breakfast. "

"There was a little confusion at check in about which rooms we had been assigned, but it was resolved quickly. The restaurant was not open for dinner on the night that we stayed at Clancy’s, but it was only a few km to find a place to eat. The rooms were very quiet and everything worked well. Breakfast was included and we requested to have it at 7:30. They were not able to accommodate that, but made it for 8:00 and it was excellent. "

"The Bush Hotel is a delightful old-world gem, perfectly situated in the heart of town with the added benefit of a spacious car park. Stepping inside feels like taking a gentle step back in time, with the walls adorned with fascinating memorabilia, historic photographs, and an array of ornaments and furnishings from the past that beautifully reflect the hotel’s rich heritage. Our room was generously sized, spotless, and offered wonderfully comfortable beds for a restful night’s sleep. The only tiny drawback was the lack of hooks in the bathroom, but this was hardly an issue. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection that also catered thoughtfully for vegetarians. What truly made our stay memorable, however, was the staff—warm, professional, and unfailingly courteous, nothing was ever too much trouble. The Bush Hotel is a place full of character and charm, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it. A well-deserved 10 out of 10."

"Room was vey clean as was the bathroom Shower very easy to use, Overall very comfortable and quiet. One very good service was the FREE water dispensers on each floor jug in room provided for filling great idea for cutting down on plastic bottles very well done Slieve Russell "

"A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. Would highly reccomend a visit to Parkes Castle followed by a boat ride on Lough Gill stopping at Dooley Park https://roseofinnisfree.com/ . The house is fantastic location to Sligo town, strandhill, rosses point, just under an hour to Knock airport, 2 hours from Galway. The house has a fully stocked shop around the corner (5 minute walk) as well as a take away chinese and kebab/pizza shop which came in handy for quick grab and go meals. Great, clean accomodation with essentials provided. Marie was a delight to communicate with, friendly and super accomodating. We needed to collect the keys a bit earlier than 3 as we were due to be at a family event - even allowing my dad to use a room to change out of his airport clothes into his snazzy suit while she was still mid cleaning the rest of the house - really appreciated that! She also provided us with a hairdryer to save on our luggage space. Great hosts - we would definitely recommend and use again if we're ever back in the west coast of Ireland.
