"Hotel is pleasant, but very dated. Evening restaurant offered a very limited menu and sadly out of the 2 desserts on offer, did not have the one we chose (pancakes). We ordered white wine and it arrived unchilled. Breakfast was very basic. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Aircon was excellent and needed. "

"The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. It seems to have a lack of maintenance in some areas. The bathroom was very nice, but the shower drain was partially blocked, so by the end of a shower, you would be standing in 3 inches of water. The elevator button to go up or down from the 6th floor wasn't functional, so we had to walk down. Not a big deal unless you have mobility issues. The air conditioning was virtually non-existent. We arrived on a hot day and the was barely a trickle of cool air from the vent. We opened the window, but the comings and goings of cars and motorcycles in the street and parking lot below made it difficult to sleep, not to mention the noise from the nightclub behind the hotel on Friday and Saturday. Our Monday and Tuesday nights were better, as it has cooled off and it was quieter. The bed looked old but was comfotable just the same."
