Nice hotel with onsen

This is a nice and comfortable hotel with a lot of nice extras. We used before and after going on Mount Fuji. The onsen is nice as well.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Close to a park, very well maintained facilities with lots to do: from great onsen, riding bicycles to delicious food. Highly recommend if you are looking to get away from the noise of big city.

Fantastic hotel!

Very clean and new amenities. Wonderful onsen facilities and daily breakfast. Roof top foot bath views of mt. fuji. Free ice cream and soba noodles!

Small dated hotel. It’s great that the hotel provides free supper of hot soba noodles, morning yakult and ice cream just outside the onsen spa. Very basic hotel.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet was specially great with so many selections. Parking was free and easy, and the property was next to the beautiful park which we enjoyed the peak season of cherry blossoms. We had a room with full view of beautiful Mt.Fuji. We would stay here again, probably during the autumn color season.

Very spacious hotel with free hot spring, foot bath, ice cream and manga reading area. It's close to gotemba outlet only 10 mins drive so can shop till late. There is a very nice park next to it too. We had breakfast at the cafe nearby about 5 mins walk. Overall great stay and would love to be back.

Outstanding stay but location was an issue. Difficult to get a bite after 6 pm unless you brought food to microwave from the 7 Eleven. This journey was a 2 kilometre walk in the dark. The hotel offered free Ramen ( one flavour) after 9.30 pm. A shuttle would make this stay opulent. The view from our window says it.

Could be better

It’s a nice hotel, but there’s not much around so the location is bad. I a,ways stay at Dormy Inn for the spa, but this one wasn’t so good. The sauna is small and too hot and the cold bath is freezing and painful. I won’t stay there again.

I've never given a hotel 10 stars before but Dormy Inn in Gotemba was a first. It was a last minute booking at less than $100 USD, and I was unsure about the hot springs bath. The walk was 1.5 miles from the train station after dark, but at no time did we feel unsafe in transit. The hot springs were very nice, the amenities were plentiful, the room was small but very comfortable. Even a bowl of hot noodles from the kitchen were complementary after 9:30pm. The hotel did surprise us with a 300 yen fee levied by the Japanese government to help us to appreciate the hot springs. No complaints, the perfect stay.

部屋もベッドも広く寛げました！ 朝は曇って屋上展望台から富士山が見えなかったのですが、朝食後に再度行ったら雲が切れて、足湯しながら富士山を見ることが出来ました！ 強いて言えば、前日が雨だったからか屋上に行く時のマットがベタベタで新しいタオルもなかったのが残念でした。
