I Wanna go Back to the Lake!
We had a marvelous time at Caribou Cabin on Big Bass Lake. PROS: Claudia rocked! She was responsive to our needs upon arrival and to answer questions regarding the community's amenities and costs. Deer ate bread right out of our hands! Plenty of firewood, coffee, shower soap, shampoo, dishes, etc. Nice fluffy robes for exiting the hottub, plenty of velvet hangers, towels, kitchen items/utensils & paper products. A/C kicked butt. Nice and chilly to beat the humidity. CONS: Dining room seating was uncomfortable and unstable. We ate quickly and did not linger around table. No outlet in 2nd bath-unless it's hidden-how can you function without one? If your clothes do not hang---ie: pj's and undergarments, you are SOL. No dressers in any room. We used extra bedroom to lay clothes out on the beds..The A-frame is smaller than expected from pics and the windows were cloudy. Rustic=no lawn and ankle high foliage. Would not be pleasant for children to run outside. However, if they are older and like to explore nature, it's perfect!
