"Around 2006, the owners, Jacqueline and Daniel, decided to turn an old stone house near their own place into a Gite. The work was done with a lot of care. The main area has a master bedroom and bath. For families with children, the attic space has an additional 3 beds and a half-bath. Off the kitchen-dining area is a large enclosed garden with table and chairs for outdoor eating. The rear garden with covered bbq and seating area was most welcome and the pool, ping pong table and orchard at the front were great. The area was very interesting and Lucie was so very helpful. "Well equipped and comfortable family living. The outside space was good, with table, chairs and parasol for private use and plenty of shared space for badminton or drawing or whatever. Nice pool. Small supermarkets nearby and 25 minutes drive to big supermarkets . Lots of pretty little towns nearby with interesting places to visit. We did a boat trip on the Dordogne, visited nearby aquatic gardens and bastide towns. A very pretty part of France."

"Lets begin with the good things: a lovely terrace with a great view and enough space inside for a small family. A few minor points however: the house was not clean when we arrived, there was no television (and I love the Tour the France so i had appreciated it if the landlords had told us), there was no wifi (we knew that beforehand) and the matrasses in the two-beds bedroom were below minimum level. So, all in all, we were a bit disappointed. "

"Absolutely stellar across the board from communication as to directions and arrival as well as nearby grocery/boulangerie etc. . Additionally, everything was clean (spotless) and well appointed. "This is a good property in the heart of the historic district of Sarlat. We had great support from Valentin and Clois when we were there. The room was in the attic with a small kitchenette, which we used for breakfast 2 of the days that we were there. We needed a property with a garage and booked one with them. What we did not realize that this was a several minute walk from the property itself. There also was no convenient place to bring up the car to unload luggage since there was a fair going...
