"It was a pleasant stay, the room was quite large and so was the bathroom. Although the room I was allocated didnt match the room on the website, but it was fine. The decor of the hallway could do with an update. The food in the restaurant was nice both dinner and breakfast. The Hotel is in a beautiful setting but still close to the town centre. I would stay here again!"

"Clean room, clean hotel. Staff were very helpful. Watched interactions with staff and other guests, could not fault, very professional, polite, friendly and helpful. Only one issue and that was that one lift was out of order, so took a little longer to wait for working one. A little inconvenience, but nothing major."

"I’ve stayed a few times, I would normally highly rate the food and staff, unfortunately this time was slightly below the normal standard they provide. The rooms are functional and the standard of cleanliness is very high, I would suggest they need to upgrade the TV,s they are small and very underwhelming. Would I go back? Yes"

"Our fist visit to Montrose. Lovely hotel which met all our needs in terms of friendliness, cleanliness, amenities and location. We had a very plentiful, tasty breakfast. Great atmosphere in the evening when there was a live band and a busy function suite. Have already recommended this hotel and this town to friends."
