"Great! Thank you!"

"Location was great, just off 29 and 36. Furniture and bedrooms were great and clean.Should really have more things towels for kitchen and bathroom. We took pictures and a video because of the cleaning rules.Trying to help others be prepared."

"Host was very helpful. Met us at property to show us where everything was, etc. The home fit our needs. Probably not a good choice for anyone with mobility issues as there are steps up to the bedrooms."

"Upon arrival, it appeared that the kitchen had not been cleaned at all. We had to wipe down the interior of the refrigerator and freezer before using. There were also multiple perishable food items left behind. We also noed a torn shower curtain. When we contacted the property manager, the only response was thanks for letting me know. "

"We had a great stay! Check-in was easy and seamless, Pat was responsive and helpful, and everything was very clean. The place was just as expected, and we had a wonderful experience overall. Would definitely recommend staying here!"

"Nice clean home. Easy to find and access it felt safe."

"Stable wifi signal allowed solid video calls during my visit so work didn't pile up too much away from home office base."

"Clean, easily accessible, and simple made for an enjoyable stay. "

"Late checkout suited me perfectly since I planned to explore more before heading off, nice flexibility offered here!"

"This property was a great place to have my family reunion … nice back yard … lake … inside the home was very spacious plenty plenty of room"

"Fun, quirky house. We grew up in the 70's so we LOVED it. Only there overnight for a football game. Did no cooking so can't comment on kitchen."

"This property is beautiful and the host has been so wonderful and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again."

"I loved the basement retreat it was clean very private and quiet. You have everything you need . The check in was easy and the host is good at answering your needs. I loved the two bedrooms with a queen bed both very comfy. You might know I gave 4 out of 5 stars but I never give a as always room for changes. I will stay again"

"Great old style place. The furnishings and decorations are well done , they perfectly fit the style. It’s a neat snapshot of history with the creaky floors and old school fixtures, and it would definitely be a place we would stay again."

"It was clean. The beds were comfortable and having a view of the river was great."

"Had a hiccup when first checking in BUT the owner was quick with replies and taking care of issue. Place is exactly as described. Quiet, off beaten path, river view house. Very nice sunsets. This was the perfect rental for me, I like an off the beaten path place - yet still a 10-15 min max drive to all needs. Beds were comfy, water was hot, and view was excellent. Would suggest to bring slippers for inside house. If a light sleeper bring earplugs. Train comes by quite a bit. Sometimes not...

"This location was perfect for our weekend stay in Smithville. One block from the town square where there are a variety of restaurants and bars. Our host was excellent and the unit was better than expected. Very nicely furnished and many extra items that really added a nice touch to our stay. Will definitely stay again when we are in town."
