The staff is amazing—we stopped halfway through our honeymoon in Lake Bled and we needed to get our laundry done so bad. They totally helped us out and were so nice. 🥹 Obviously, like the other reviews, I have to point out that the breakfast is top-tier (& included with the stay). "Good hotel but I felt it was quite expensive for the room standard. The view from the balcony was excellent but the aircon was weak and the bathroom felt dated. The location is super handy, and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good and on at good times with plenty seating. The pool areas are a huge highlight of this hotel too- it’s great to have so many to choose from and beautiful views from the terrace. I felt we were charged a lot for extras I expected to be included, for example the onsite saunas. There was also a fee for lost room keys (and remember to take one per person for the pool areas so you cant get in otherwise). It was also the only hotel on our trip that charged for parking however I believe this is due to a bigger parking issue in Lake Bled in general. I would stay here again however- and booking the balcony room made all the difference!"

"The best things about this hotel are that it is a 1-minute walk from Villach HbF; the rooms (at least mine) were clean and quiet, despite proximity to the train (and bus) station; the desk staff was friendly; and the breakfast buffet was pretty good. It's a 10-minute stroll from the old town and the most scenic part of Villach."

"The hotel has an ideal location on lake Bohinj. It's a bit unclear where reception is when you arrive at the parking lot and first impression from the staff was not great. They were not very friendly for some reason. We upgraded from a basement room with a view of a parking lot 1st night to a great corner suite on top floor with an amazing view of the lake and mountain and a large bath 2nd night. Breakfast was good and we had light dinner and dessert at the hotel as well, which was good. Although, charging 20 euro for a cup of buckwheat is ridiculous, as much as I love buckwheat. Plenty of parking and there is a sauna and a large whirlpool. Wonderful location and concept, staff could be a bit more helpful at front desk and in the dining area. Muhr Villa dinner in day two was an amazing experience - another level."

"My room at this hotel was absolutely beautiful. It was well decorated, clean, and comfortable. The staff was fantastic and helpful. The food at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was wonderful. The location is peaceful and quiet. It's an easy trip from the hotel down to Lake Bled, and it's nice to get away from the crowds at the end of the day. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The property has an A++ location and amenities, but it drastically needs a refresh. Elevator is old and slow (and only 1) and all room and common area decor is very dated and tired. It would be an amazing first class hotel with an upgrade as the location and boathouse amenity are unmatched anywhere in gorgeous Lake Bled."
