Nana’s Bunkhouse is a small little efficiency located in Houston, MO.
8/10 Good
"It is a really comfortable, clean and quiet place. I didn't grasp from the photos this was a split-level house and the main bedroom and bathroom was on a lower level. We are older and might have rethought this if we knew that stairs would be key to our rental use. If you use the coffee machine or need water for any reason, you must go downstairs to the bathroom. We ended up needing to navigate the stairs several times. If you are a large person the shower stall is very small. That said, everything worked and the AC was very comfortable. I would recommend even with the couple things I mentioned."
"We had a great stay at the cabin! The hosts are great to work with and quick on communication. If you're looking for time out in nature, this is a great spot off the beaten path."
This country charm farmhouse is newly remodeled and super cute
10/10 Excellent
"The pictures of this farmhouse just don't do it justice. The back of the house has a little patio area that faces a wide open grassy field. There is nothing but gorgeous wide open space and sky.The sunsets and clouds were unbelievable. We didn't see one human with the exception of the farm family that came through to tend the sheep in the side pasture. If you want to get away from it all and relax, this is the place. Inside was clean, comfy and well stocked. The decor had a lovely farmhouse feel. If I had to complain about anything, I would say the couch isn't the most comfortable for curling your feet up under you to relax. Maybe some foot stools would do the trick. It is a quick drive(the road to the house is gravel) to restaurants and groceries and a few more minutes to get to the downtown area and town square. We spent a day in Springfield and also went to Fantastic Caverns, an hour or so away. Alot of stores were closed Sunday and Monday in both Mountain Grove and Springfield so we didn't get to do much shopping. But we very much enjoyed our stay here. Such a relaxing home."
