"Wir haben unser Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen, vom herzlichen Empfang, bis zum auschecken alles schoen und stilvoll. Wir waren im Rosen Zimmer, es war schoen eingerichtet, sehr zauber und gepflegt, historische charmant mit modernem Komfort, Klima usw. wir haben extra eine Weinprobe gemacht und genossen, Wein und Olivenoel vom hohen qualitaet. Abends und morgens im schoenen Garten zu verweilen ist ein muss! Man merkt, dass dieses Haus ein Familienhaus Haus ist und mit Herz und Liebe geleitet...

"This is a wonderful old place but…you MUST have a car! We did not have one but it’s very inconvenient and expensive to get one to come up to this area. Also - there is no dinner service on Sunday evenings - which was the day we stayed here. The staff was SO amazing and do make us a charcuterie plate - and they were wonderful. The rooms are sparse but very clean. "

"This is an extraordinary place to stay. Utterly beautiful views at all times, in all directions. The walk through vineyards and olive groves into Vinci is a pleasure, and the little town is a lovely example of Tuscany, with added interest of Leonardo. Easy to reach Pisa, Siena, Florence, San Gimingnano and the Ligurian coastal towns by car from here. Surrounding countryside and villages just stunning, especially along the Montebalno ridge. "We arrived late at night which our host kindly allowed for, but his English wasn’t good so it was hard for him to explain why the room we had booked and paid for wasn’t available and we were in a much smaller apartment which was not especially comfortable for the length of the stay with questionable weather.. "
