Charming guest cottage on beautiful Lake Granbury! This newly constructed guest suite is lake front, on the most beautiful open water area of Lake Granbury and close to the Granbury Historic square. There are several steps to walk up to access the cottage, and is perfect for a couple with one bedroom (queen-size bed), but there is a large couch for an extra guest. There are ceiling fans in each room, and separate thermostats. Upon arrival guest are impressed with the immaculate interior of the cottage, with a kitchen, living room, and bedroom with private bath. Enjoy a great weekend at the lake and enjoy the fishing and scenery from the dock. (There is a resource for renting boats, jet-skis, and all kinds of water-sport equipment only blocks away.) The guest suite has a beautiful, serene view of the water, with plenty of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy. It's perfect for a romantic getaway, friends spending time together, or a relaxing overnight stay. Dine on site in the fully equipped kitchen or use the outside BBQ. Some prefer to experience Granbury’s fine restaurants, just minutes away. There is an outdoor fireplace and beautiful decks to enjoy the view of the lake. Curl up inside on the over sized sofa and enjoy watching your favorite sports on the 42'' flat screen set up for streaming your favorite channels and stay connected with our complimentary WiFi system. The guest suite is close to the Granbury Historic square and all the restaurants, quaint shops, local activities, and the beach! If guests need a break from the lake, there is plenty of entertainment around town. There is a newly renovated bowling alley and a cinema. There's even a drive-in movie in Granbury! On the historical Granbury Square there is always a play to be seen at the famous "Opera House." The guest suite is only 30 minutes from Fort Worth, or if you are interested in wildlife adventure, "Fossill Rim" is just a short drive away in Glen Rose, and "Dinosaur Valley State Park."

I am already looking at 2026 dates! This is the most well appointed, guest centered experience on a beautiful quiet property. It’s so close to the beach, the town Square and all the fabulous restaurants, and even if you did not want to leave the property, you can spend hours gazing out at the lake and sitting in front of the beautiful fireplace. Hosts are absolutely amazing.

This Lake house on Granbury Lake was stunning! It was in the perfect location to go to the square or go into town. The cottage was impeccable, very clean and beautifully decorated. The outdoor living places (I think there were 5 including the dock) were like being in a botanical garden. The hosts were warm and welcoming. I will definitely book again!

Such a romantic get away for my husband and my twenty third wedding anniversary. The property was beautiful and relaxin. I loved that the owner left a little breakfast for us for the next morning. The hosts were beyond hospitable for us on this quick stay. The guest house was clean and accommodating for the two of us, with a steep but direct walk downstairs to enjoy sitting lakeside. We wish we could have stayed longer, but may just have to return to this peaceful place!

This property offered a cozy nest right next to Lake Granbury. The host was responsive and friendly. Kitchen was well stocked and we received on on-site letter that answered our questions on Wi-Fi and our hosts contact info. The multi level decks outside the hosts primary home were open to us to enjoy lake views and breezes. Enjoyed eating our host provided mini muffins and coffee on the deck.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy lakehouse cabin in Granbury, TX! Sweet getaway

My daughter and I enjoyed this beautiful VRBO on the lake. I’m a huge plant lover, so seeing the greenhouse out of the bedroom window with the lake in the background made me smile. The owners were kind and helpful. Easy to communicate with. Bed was comfortable. Only downside was the couch was not, but we were in and out so didn’t spend much time sitting around. The apartment is adorable and well decorated. Host made sure we had muffins in juice for the next morning as well as coffee. We would absolutely stay again. It was perfect.
